Instructions

  1. Make homemade bath fizzies

    • 1

Pour 2 cups of baking soda into a bowl.

    • 2

Add in 1 cup of citric acid.

    • 3

Drop in 1 tbsp. of essential oil, mixing it in thoroughly with your hands.

    • 4

Fill a spray bottle with witch hazel.

    • 5

Spray the mixture lightly until it is packable with your hands.

    • 6

Use your hands to press the mixture into a soap mold.

    • 7

Once the mold is packed, pop out the bath fizzie, and allow it to sit on a counter top until it dries. Keep packing soap molds until you have used up all of the mixture.

    Make homemade eye pillows

    • 8

Cut out a rectangle of silk fabric that measures around 8-inches wide and 18-inches long.

    • 9

Fold the rectangle in half, keeping the printed side, if there is one, on the inside.

    • 10

Stitch around the perimeter of the rectangle using a chain stitch, leaving around 1-inch not sewn. Turn the rectangle inside out.

    • 11

Pour around 2 cups of buckwheat hulls in a bowl, and add in 20 drops of lavender essential oil. Mix the two substances together well.

    • 12

Pour the buckwheat mixture into the pillow. Tuck in the opening, and sew it closed. You can place the pillow over your eyes to help with relaxation.

    Make homemade incense

    • 13

Fill a jelly-roll tray with essential oil so that it reaches around 1/4-inch in depth.

    • 14

Dip incense blanks into the oil, allowing them to soak in the oil for at least five minutes.

    • 15

Lift out the sticks, and tie the ends together with twine.

    • 16

Hang up the incense by the twine to enable them to dry completely.
