How to Disable Nero Scout
Nero Scout is a media indexing program that comes with certain versions of other Nero programs, such as Nero Wave Editor, Nero Burning ROM and Nero PhotoSnap. Scout automatically starts when the computer starts and constantly runs in the background, waiting to index any new media files that the user accesses. Disabling Nero Scout can free up a lot of the computer's memory, making it run faster.
