Turn the water supply off that goes to that particular faucet. The obvious reason for this is so you do not have a flood in your home. Generally the water supply will be located under the sink itself. Look for the water lines, there should be 2 of them, one for hot and one for cold. Turn the valve counter clockwise for each line to turn the water off.

Using a screwdriver unscrew the screw at the top of each handle so that you can remove the handle covers. Most handle covers have the screw to secure them at the top and middle of the faucet handle. Determine if you need to use a Phillips or a flathead screwdriver.

Pull the handle covers up and straight off. Do this for each side, the hot and the cold. If it is difficult to get up and off gently tap on it with the screwdriver to dislodge it.

    • 4

Unscrew the locknut which you will now see under the handle cover. You will need to use the pliers to do this. Do this for each handle.

    • 5

Using the pliers pull the Moen faucet up and off. You have successfully removed the 2 handle faucet.
