How to Renew AAA Gift Membership

Renew a gift AAA membership before it's too late.

AAA membership can be a useful gift for friends or family who drive often or alone. Roadside service is one of the many services that AAA provides to its members. To continue a gift membership after the expiration date, you can renew it for the recipient so that he or she can continue to receive services. You can renew a gift membership in person, at one of AAA branch locations or over the phone.

• Gift membership information or card
• Credit or debit card
• Cash or money order

Instructions

Over The Phone

1. Call AAA customer service at 1-800-441-5008 and press the number 4 on your keypad to speak to a representative about membership renewal.

2. Hold for a representative and get the membership information or card ready.

3. Explain to the representative that you would like to renew a gift membership. Give the agent the information from a debit or credit card to place the order for renewal.

In Person

1. Visit the AAA locations page on its website to search for the nearest office to you.

2. Type your zip code into the box at the top of the page or fill out your complete address in the section below it. Click "Search for Offices" to get your results.

3. Choose one of the locations provided on your results page and visit it during the listed business hours. Take the AAA gift account information with you, as well as cash, a money order or debit or credit card to pay for the renewal.
