How to Install BoardMaker

BoardMaker is a software application for educators to make interactive tools for the classroom. The software allows teachers to make language tools for young children and uses symbolism, sounds and voices to help students learn speech and reading. Installing the software only takes a few steps.

Insert the installation CD into the computer.

Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop.

Right-click the CD ROM drive in the list of drives on your computer. Select "Explore." This opens a window that lists all the files on the CD ROM disk.

Double-click the "Setup" file. This opens the installation wizard window.

Click the "Next" button on the summary screen.

Agree to the software's license agreement by selecting the "I accept" radio button. Click the "Next" button.

Select a location for the saved files. The installation wizard prompts you for a default location. Click the "Next" button. The software installs at this point.

Verify the software was installed by clicking the Windows "Start" button, select "Programs" and choose "Mayer-Johnson Boardmaker."
