How to Decorate an Office or Computer Room With Your Home Photos
The office and computer room is most frequently a personal workspace, and including home photos in that workspace can make the entire work experience more enjoyable. Home photos will help provide a better ambiance for the room; yet, if used excessively, they can also contribute to the office clutter, creating a slightly more distasteful environment. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Determine who exactly owns the space before deciding on a basic decoration strategy. For example, if you work in a cubicle with another colleague, it may be a bit overwhelming for your colleague and boss who walks by if your corner is cluttered with lots of family photos; yet, if the computer room is yours privately and entirely, then you can include as many photos as you wish.

2
Determine your preference for space and clutter. For example, if the "home" feel to you means an office space filled with home photos every which way you turn, then several framed photos along the office walls and even the computer monitor may be in order; however, if you prefer or are required to be more economical with your space, then one or two digital picture frames will be preferred, with each of them cycling through a few of your favorite photos.

3
Choose home photos that are most appropriate for the setting. For example, in a more public office, an image of you or your spouse at the beach in a bikini and swim trunks may be less appropriate, while the same image in a private space could easily be the highlight of the room.
-
4
Do not enlarge the photos to an extent that they overshadow the purpose of the room. For example, an office at work is not the place for photos that seemingly overshadow your goals as an employee, as the work should always at least appear to come first; however, in the family computer room where the purpose is for enjoyment exclusively, then home photos can be anywhere and everywhere, even as the background on the computer.

5
Use different picture frames to capture different moments. Unless you prefer digital frames exclusively, the opportunity for artistic frames is endless and can add a rich ambiance to the space. For example, using a flowered frame for your daughter and a frame with a tiny diploma images for a recently graduated son would add more panache to the image.
