How to Read WPS Files on a Mac
Files that end in .wps are Microsoft Works files from the Microsoft Works word processor. Because the Apple products use a different system, you cannot open .wps files without a bit of additional work. Unfortunately, you cannot open a .wps file with Mac-based programs like NeoOffice, TextEdit or AppleWorks. However, by downloading the free OpenOffice program, you can convert the .wps file into a file type that is compatible with your Mac computer.
