The Crosswalk 650 allows its user to engage in a variety of aerobic exercises to burn fat and strengthen the cardiovascular system. Accessing the 650’s various workout programs can be done while using the unit, and its control panel makes adjustments straightforward. Although problems can occur, the vast majority of problems associated with the treadmill can quickly be resolved.

Things You'll Need

  • Single-outlet surge suppressor rated at 120 volts and 15 amps
  • Treadmill’s hex key

Crosswalk Does Not Turn On

  • Ensure that the treadmill is not plugged into a GFCI outlet. A GFCI outlet can easily be recognized by its “RESET” and “TEST” buttons.

  • Plug the treadmill’s power cord into a single-outlet surge suppressor, then plug the surge suppressor into a grounded wall outlet. A grounded wall outlet has three ports rather than two. The surge suppressor must be rated at 120 volts and 15 amps.

  • Ensure that the treadmill’s key is inserted into its control console.

  • Flip the “RESET/OFF” switch located next to the treadmill’s power supply cord to the “RESET” position. If the switch has recently tripped to the “OFF” position, wait at least five minutes before flipping the switch to the “RESET” position.

Crosswalk Turns Off During Use

  • Unplug the treadmill’s power cord from the electrical outlet, allow at least five minutes to expire, then plug the cord back into the outlet.

  • Remove the treadmill’s key from the treadmill, then reinsert the key.

  • Call the manufacturer at 877-776-4777.

Incline Does Not Change Correctly

  • Insert the treadmill’s key into the control panel.

  • Press the desired Incline button on the control panel.

  • Pull the treadmill’s key out of the control panel as the incline is changing, the allow a few seconds to expire.

  • Insert the key into the control panel. The treadmill’s incline will automatically rise to its highest point, then lower to its lowest point, which will recalibrate the incline system.

Walking Belt Slips or is Off-Center

  • Remove the treadmill’s key and pull the power cord out of its electrical outlet.

  • Use the treadmill’s hex key to adjust the walking belt if the belt is off-center. If the belt has shifted to the right, tighten the bolt behind the left side of the belt, at the back of the treadmill, 1/2 turn to the left. If the belt has shifted to the left, tighten the bolt behind the right side of the belt 1/2 turn to the right.

  • Use the treadmill’s hex key to adjust the walking belt if the belt slips. Turn the bolt behind both the left and right sides of the belt in 1/4 turn increments in a clockwise direction until both edges of the belt can be lifted three to four inches.

  • Plug the treadmill’s power cord into the electrical outlet and reinsert the treadmill’s key into the control panel.
