How to Work a Creative Live Webcam
Creative Labs makes webcam devices in a series called "Live." These webcams have built-in microphones, which means you not only have the ability to snap still images using your unit, you can also record full videos with synchronized sound. Use the software that came with your Creative Live Webcam, called the "Creative Webcam Center" utility, to work the webcam.

Position your Creative Live Webcam near your computer in an area where its lens is facing the subject you'd like to capture. For example, if you're trying to take a picture of yourself, set the device somewhere where the lens is facing toward you.

Open the "Creative Webcam Center" software using its "Start" menu icon.

Click the "Capture" button.

Use the drop-down menu next to the "Photo" button at the bottom of the program window to select a resolution for the still photograph you'd like to take. Line your subject up in the viewing window onscreen and click the "Photo" button to capture your photograph.

Use the drop-down menu next to the "Video" button at the bottom of the program window to select a resolution for the video you'd like to record. Line your subject up in the viewing window onscreen and click the "Video" button to begin recording your video. When finished, press the "Stop" button to complete the recording process.
