A clean, rust-free hook.

Use vinegar to remove rust from fishhooks. Rust develops on fishhooks if they are left wet. If rust is left on fishhooks, it can get into the fish caught. It can also get into your blood stream if you are stuck with a rusty hook, which will make you sick. Vinegar breaks down the rust particles and won't harm the fish, if there is any residue on the hooks. Does this Spark an idea?
