A popular feature on many garage doors is the remote keypad. This keypad, like the wireless opener, allows an extra sense of security and convenience. You program or reprogram codes into your garage keypad in just minutes. Programming requires only access to the "smart" button on the motor unit and can be reset as often as you would like. Instructions

    • 1

      Enter your garage and press and release the "smart" button on your garage motor unit. This button is located on the back of the unit near the antenna wire.

      Wait for the unit's indicator light to start blinking and return to your keypad to complete the following step within 30 seconds.

      Enter your new passcode on the keypad and press and hold the "Enter" button.

    • 4

      Wait for the garage motor light to blink or click and release the "Enter" button to complete the programming sequence.
