  1. Reface a Dishwasher Panel

    • 1

      Remove the screws that secure the front panel of the appliance, using a screwdriver. Set the panel aside.

      Remove the piece of trim at the bottom of the dishwasher, using the screwdriver.

      Set the old panel over the stainless-steel panel and mark the location of the screw holes with a pencil. Drill screw holes in the stainless-steel panel with a power drill and metal drill bit.

      Set the new stainless-steel panel into the grooves at the bottom of the unit. Tighten the screws to secure the new panel and the piece of trim to the dishwasher.

    Reface a Refrigerator

      Pry off the magnetic strip that covers the screws for the trim piece on the inside edge of the refrigerator. Remove the screws from the door panel with the screwdriver.

      Set the new stainless-steel panel into the grooves at the bottom of the door. Place the trim piece back on the door and tighten the screws to secure it.

      Set the magnetic strip back in place.
