How to Duplicate a DVD in Vista

It's not necessary to have any advanced programs to create a duplicate copy of a DVD you've already burned in the Windows Vista operating system. To create a duplicate DVD, you essentially go through the same process you would to create a duplicate copy of a single file. The only difference is that once you create a duplicate copy of the contents of the DVD, you then write those contents to a disc using your DVD burner.

Things You'll Need

• DVD burner
• DVD

Instructions

1. Put the DVD you'd like to duplicate into your Windows Vista DVD burner.

2. Click "Start."

3. Click "Computer."

4. Right-click on your DVD's icon and click "Copy."

5. Take the DVD out of your DVD burner and immediately put a blank DVD back in the drive. Right-click on the blank DVD's icon and click "Paste." Then, click "Burn to disc" to create your duplicate copy of your original DVD.
