How to Recover Deleted Files from a Floppy Disk
Floppy disks are no longer found on most computer systems currently produced. However, the small device, at one point in time, served as the default storage and travel format for those looking to move small files from one computer to another. If a file has been deleted from the disk but you later realize you still need the file, there is a way to recover the deleted files, as long as you have not used the disk again to save additional information. If you have saved new content to the disk since deleting the old files, the new information, more than likely, has been saved over the previous data.

1
Download and install "PC File Recovery" (see Resources). Choose "Scan," then select the floppy A: disk as the device you want to scan. Click "Start" and the program scans the disk. Because the storage space is small, the scan only takes a moment or two. Click the files you want to recover on the right side of the program, then click "Restore" to restore the floppy disk files.
