How to Super Seed With Utorrent

Super seeding is a mode in the bittorrent file transfer protocol that tries to minimize how long it takes for the initial file uploader to distribute the file to multiple users. The method theoretically reduces the amount of time that it takes for a single uploader to transfer the entire uploaded file to other users who have downloaded the file. The uTorrent bittorrent client has this mode as an optional feature that users can enable for torrents that they are seeding.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open uTorrent.

    • 2

Double-click on the torrent that you want to super seed.

    • 3

Check on the box labeled "Initial Seeding" and then click on the "OK" button to turn on super seeding for the torrent file.
