How to Download Music to My Craig 2Gb MP3 Player

Insert the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player into your computer's USB port.

Portable MP3 players are highly convenient for listening to music while working out or traveling. Craig Electronics manufactures several MP3-enabled personal audio players, including the compact, 2GB CPM611E. You must connect the Craig CPM611E to your computer in order to use the device's 2GB hard drive for either music playback or storage. Use the Craig CPM611E's USB adapter to establish this connection and download music onto the device for either purpose.

Instructions

1. Press and hold the "Pause/Play" button to turn the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player on.

2. Press and hold the "Menu" button to open the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player's setting menu.

3. Press the "Skip Forward" or "Skip Back" button until you highlight the "SYS" tab from the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player's settings menu. Press the "Menu" button to select.

4. Press the "Skip Forward" or "Skip Back" button until you highlight the "Online Device" tab. Press the "Menu" button to highlight.

5. Press the "Skip Forward" or "Skip Back" button until you highlight "USB Disk." Press the "Menu" button to select. Press and hold the "Menu" button to save the setting and automatically exit the menu.

6. Insert the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 into an available USB slot on your computer, as the device is fitted with a USB port. Wait for your computer to recognize the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player as a connected device.

7. Double-click the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player's device icon to open its file folder window.

8. Open the file folder containing the MP3 music files you wish to download onto the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player.

9. Drag-and-drop the MP3 music files from their own file folder into the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player's.

10. Safely remove the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player from your computer. Right-click the Craig CPM611E 2GB MP3 player's device icon and select "Eject" or "Safely Remove Device" from the ensuing drop-down menu.
