How to Configure T-Mobile on Windows Mobile Internet Explorer

A T-Mobile hotspot is a wireless Internet access point that is available in certain public places like bookstores or coffee shops. As the name suggests, it is a hotspot powered by the T-Mobile cellular network. If you want to access a T-Mobile hotspot on the mobile version of the Internet Explorer Web browser that is installed in Windows Mobile, you'll have to tell your hand-held device that you want to connect to that particular access point.

Instructions

    • 1

      Select "Start."

    • 2

      Choose "Settings."

    • 3

Select "Connections" and open "Wireless Manager."

    • 4

Turn the "WiFi" setting ON if it is currently reading as OFF. Select the name of the T-Mobile hotspot that you are trying to connect to from the list of available wireless access points. Your Windows Mobile portable device will now be connected to the T-Mobile hotspot. You can now use the mobile Internet Explorer Web browser to access the Internet via the T-Mobile cellular network.
