Before the Playstation Portable, Playstation 3 and the Playstation 2, came the original Playstation 1. It was a breakthrough in home video gaming in many aspects and became an instant success. Almost 20 years later people are still playing its games. Sony has seen this popularity and has placed many of the PS1 titles on the PSN Store for the PSP and the PS3. This means you can play those PS1 games that you loved on your PSP.

  • Sony PSP
  • Playstation Points card
  • Credit card

Instructions

    • 1

      Turn on your Sony PSP and select the PSN Store icon from the PSP menu. The PSN Store front will appear.

      Select "Classics" from the PSN Store front to be brought to the PS1 game section. Browse their selection of games and select one to see more information.

      Select "Add to cart" to place the game in the download queue. Select "Checkout" when you are ready to complete your purchase.

      Enter in your Playstation Points card information or your credit card information to complete the purchase and the game will download onto your PSP memory stick.

    • 5

      Press the "O" until you exit the PSN Store and browse to the game section of the PSP menu. You will see your new PS1 games there. Select one to play.
