How to Configure a Vizio LCD HDTV With an Xbox 360 & a Home PC
A Vizio LCD HDTV will provide you and your family hours of high-definition quality video and sound. Due to the amount of video and audio inputs which the television offers, you can add quite a few peripherals to the television. In fact, you can use the television as a monitor for your PC and as the video output for a video gaming system like the XBox 360. And adding these peripherals will not interfere with your normal television viewing.
Things You'll Need
- RGB computer video cable
- XBox AV, HDMI or component cables
- Auxiliary sound cable

Position the Xbox near the television. Plug the system into a wall outlet.

Plug the AV, component or HDMI cables into the Xbox video outputs on the back of the television. Plug the other end into one of the video inputs (video, component or HDMI depending on the type of cable you used) of the television.

Turn on the television and the Xbox. Press the "Input" button on the remote to bring up a list of video inputs. Continue pressing the "Input" button until you have selected the input for your Xbox. You should see the XBox video on your screen.
Home PC

Set up your PC near the television. Turn on the PC.

Plug the RGB wire into the RGB monitor output on your PC. Plug the other end into the RGB input on the back of the television.

Plug one end of the auxiliary cable into the speaker output on the computer. Plug the other end of the cable into the audio input next to the RGB input.

Turn on the television. Repeatedly press the "Input" button on the remote to bring up a list of video inputs. Continue pressing the "Input" button until you have selected the RGB input. The television will now act as a monitor and speakers.
