Instructions

    • 1

Unpack chair pieces. Using the instruction manual and chair parts, develop an understanding of the way your chair will come together. The screws come with matching metal acceptors that are not interchangeable. The two hexagonal wrenches correspond to two particular screws.

    • 2

Assemble the legs. One of the short cross-pieces goes between the chair back legs; one will go in the middle of the leg section. Line up the legs and cross-pieces and insert a screw acceptor into the crosspiece on one side. Screw in the appropriate screw from the outside of the leg frame so that it slides into the screw acceptor's hole. Repeat this step on the opposite side's leg frame. Screw in the other cross-piece.

    • 3

Attach the seat to the chair's back using screws and acceptors. The seat's rear overlaps with the chair back's bottom, so that screw holes line up. Tighten screws.

    • 4

Secure the chair bottom and back to the legs by attaching the seat's front to the middle of each leg's supports. Attach the middle of the chair's back to the top of the leg supports. Tighten screws. Attach the chair padding with the fabric fastener.

Tips & Warnings

  • Insert screw acceptors first, facing the way screws will pass through them.

  • Chair cushions are easily modified with covers, decorations or additional sewing, because they are detachable with fabric fasteners.

  • Don't sit in the chair until assembly is complete and screws are tightened.
