How to Draw Lara Croft
Lara Croft, the star of the hit game "Tomb Raider," is a spunky, smart and very athletic archaeologist who braves many adventures all in the name of finding various artifacts in tombs and ancient ruins. Drawing Lara Croft is very similar to drawing any other woman, with the exception of her signature gear, outfit and hairstyle. It is important to be comfortable with your basic anatomical drawing skills to complete the drawing, as Lara Croft's body is one of her most telling features.

Sketch a brief outline of a woman's figure. The overall pose should be graceful and slender but athletic as well---a very curvy upper body with a small waist and lean legs that are long and bare. For example, if the figure you are drawing is six inches tall, the legs should be around three and a half inches long. Her hips and shoulders should be the same width and the waist should be about 3/4 of that width.

Add Lara's clothes to the body. She should be wearing a fitting tank top, shorts and boots that are above the ankle but below the knee. There should also be a gun holster wrapped around her right thigh and holster straps that wrap up and around her shoulders. Use the tip of your pencil to create open-fingered gloves on her hands.

Draw in Lara's beautiful facial features---full lips, large eyes and a slender nose that isn't crooked or turned up.

Sketch the hairstyle over the head and face of your figure. Make wispy bangs that frame Lara's face and draw a long braid that hangs over her shoulder.
