Instructions

    • 1

Cut each of the bottom of the gerbera daisies' stems with scissors. Leave the stem between 10 to 12 inches long. Hold the daisies with their stems against a flat surface to check that they are the same size. Trim any excess stem with the scissors.

    • 2

Pull off any leaves from the bottom three-quarters of the daisies.

    • 3

Cut the baby's breath's stems with scissors; leave the stems 12 inches long.

    • 4

Cut the stems of the eucalyptus foliage with scissors to 12 inches long.

    • 5

Gather the daisies in your hand. Use your other hand to place the baby's breath around the back of the daisies. Do the same with the eucalyptus foliage. When finished, the gerbera daisies should be in the front with the feathery foliage in the back.

    • 6

Wrap a rubber band at the bottom of the stems about one inch from the bottom. This will hold the flowers in place.

    • 7

Tie a silk ribbon in a bow at the center of the bouquet or place the flowers in a decorative vase.

Tips & Warnings

  • If using a vase, only fill the vase with 1/2 inch of water. Gerbera daisies do not like to sit in high water.

  • To lengthen the life of your cut bouquet, cut the gerbera daisies' stems whenever they seem brown or soggy.
