How to Build a Naya Deck
The Gathering trading card game offers players an array of varying realms from which to draw creatures, spells and artifacts. The plane of Naya, from the Shards of Alara block of Magic, houses many spiritual creatures, including elves, lion-men and gigantic beasts. This plane draws its magic primarily from the green mana of forest cards and gains bonuses from the allied magical colors of red and white. Naya decks focus on generating enough mana to bring the mightiest beasts of the shard to the battle.

1
Select your mana generation cards. The Druid of the Anima can add any of Naya's colors of mana to your mana pool, and Rampant Growth lets you bring any basic land into play quickly. Fast mana generation means that your heavy hitters will join the fray as soon as possible.

Choose low casting cost creatures for defense. Early creatures work as sacrifices, preventing you from losing the match before your largest threats are available. Wild Nacatl gains power from all of your land types and makes a good choice for this deck. Naya Battlemage can lock down opposing creatures and prevent them from attacking you.

Add your biggest green creatures to the deck. he Mosstodon and Wooly Thoctar live in Naya and make excellent attackers for your late game win. Any creature with high attack power can be used as long as it possesses green as a primary color or is a mix of green, red or white.
