Instructions for Installing "Emperor: Battle for Dune"

"Emperor: Battle for Dune" is a real-time strategy (RTS) game developed by Westwood Studios for PC. "Emperor: Battle for Dune" was originally produced in 2001 and was created to run on Windows XP; when installing "Emperor: Battle for Dune" on Windows 7, you may encounter compatibility issues. To ensure the safe installation of "Emperor: Battle for Dune" on your computer, you must use Windows Compatibility mode when running the installation process.

Insert the "Emperor: Battle for Dune" installation disc into your computer's compact disc drive, then close the installation prompt box that launches.

Click the "Start" button on the desktop, then click "Computer."

Click once in the left pane on the disc drive that holds the game installation disc. If the autorun box pops up again, close it again.

Right-click "Setup.exe" in the right pane, then click "Properties" in the dropdown box.

Click the "Compatibility" tab in the "Properties" menu, then click the checkbox for "Run this program in compatibility mode."

Click "Windows XP" in the compatibility dropdown box, then click "OK."

Double-click the "Setup.exe" file.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install "Emperor: Battle for Dune" on your computer.
