How to Remove the Bubble on Google Maps
Google Maps allows you to embed a map onto your website. Although this is a useful tool, you may not want some of what the web application brings with it, namely the location bubble that appears at times. To remove a location bubble so it does not show up on your embedded map, you will need to alter a very small portion of the code.
Instructions

-
1
Launch your browser. Go to the Google Maps site (see Resources).
-
2
Find the location that you want to map. Hit "Link" in the upper-left corner of the page.
-
-
3
Click the "Customize and preview embedded map" link that appears under the "Link" option.
-
4
View the code shown on the page. Find the "iwloc=A" or the "iwloc=addr" piece of the code. Replace it with "iwloc=near".
-
5
Copy the code as you normally would and paste it into your site's HTML code.
