Find the card that you would like to print. There are many websites that offer free cards to print, while others may charge a fee to join. For example, Bluemountain.com charges a fee, while Funnye-cards.com does not. Some sites may ask you to download content to create cards, such as Myfuncards.com. When selecting a card, check to see if the word printable is on the site. If it isn't, the card may not print very well, since it may have been created solely for online sending. Also consider the fact that, if the background is dark, the images may be lost in the color. If an image is too small when you preview it, then it may be difficult to see when it is printed. Check that the printer is on and load paper into the printer tray. Look to the top left of your screen and you will see a toolbar. Locate "File" and left click to open it. Find print preview. Click on this to see a sample before you print.

View your card. If you are satisfied with how it will look, select File again. Now select print. In mere moments, your Christmas card will appear on the paper. Once the printing is complete, allow your card to remain still for five minutes. This will give the ink time to dry and keep your greeting from smudging.

Instead of using plain printer paper you can use card stock. This is thicker than traditional paper and comes in a variety of colors.
There is always the risk of a paper jam. Make sure paper is lying flat and unwrinkled. If the printer is low on ink the card may print blurry, smudged or much lighter than it should.
