How to Install a Pegasus Kitchen Faucet

Things You'll Need
- Basin wrench
- Adjustable wrench
- Water supply hoses (2)
- Teflon tape
- Plumber's putty

With an adjustable wrench, remove the water supply lines from the shut-off valves under the sink. Turn the valves off first.

Unfasten the other end of the water supply lines from the bottom of the faucet stems.

Unscrew the nuts on the faucet stems using the basin wrench. Pull the old faucet off of the sink top.

Apply plumber's putty to the underneath of the new faucet and set it in place on the sink top. Fasten the nuts to the faucet stems underneath the sink, using the basin wrench.

Wrap the ends of the faucet stems and the threads on the shut-off valves with Teflon tape. Fasten both ends of the new water supply lines with the adjustable wrench.

Clean up any excess putty on the sink top and turn on the water supply to the faucet.

Tips & Warnings
Do not overtighten the nuts on the faucet stems or it could crack the faucet body.
Do not overtighten the nuts of the water supply lines. If water leaks after the water supply is turned on, tighten the nuts slowly a little at a time until the leak stops.
