How to Remove the Alternator From a 2003 Tundra

The alternator on a 2003 Toyota Tundra creates electricity from the turning of the engine. When the alternator goes out the electrical system of the truck does as well, making the truck unable to drive. The only way to fix the problem is to remove the alternator and either get it rebuilt or replace it with a new one. From start to finish, replacing an alternator on a Tundra should take under an hour to do, but first, you have to remove the defective alternator.
