How to Make a Paper Fuse
A paper fuse, also called a Chinese paper fuse, burns from one end to the other once you light an end with a flame. You can make a paper fuse to extend the length of time that the fuse of a firecracker, a toy rocket engine or other ignitable device will take before going off. You'll need a few household items but no special skills in order to make the paper fuse. You must have adult supervision if you are underage, since you will be working with an ignitable substance.
