How to Insert a Map Into a Web Page
Google Maps provides the ability to add map locations onto Web pages, social networks, or blogs, complete with a scrollable interface and other basic features. Embedding a Google Maps requires the ability to add custom HTML to your site, usually available on most social networking sites and blogs.

Open your Web browser and navigate to Google Maps (see Resources).

Use the search box to find the location or map you want to embed on your site.

Click "Links to this page" located in the top right corner of the window.

Click "Customize and preview embedded map" and select the various options for your map.

Copy the HTML code in section 3 and paste it on your Web page where you want the map or location to appear.

Tips & Warnings
Users with a knowledge of javascript with their own personal domain can add a custom Google Map "mashup," complete with custom information, to their site using the Google Map API (see Resources).
