Huge biceps are not built overnight. Obtaining bigger biceps can be done with a strong commitment to diet and weight training. Once you have made your biceps huge, the hard part of the journey is over, as maintaining your huge bicep size is much easier than making them big from scratch.

Instructions

Take creatine supplements. Creatine will make your biceps larger more quickly than any other legal supplement. Creatine is a supplement that is found naturally in the body, and it loads your muscles with energy to make you stronger during your workouts. The increase of bicep muscle size when taking creatine supplements is caused by extra water retention.

Perform bicep isolating curls. Modify a standard curl to better isolate your biceps by keeping the movement between 0 and 90 degrees. When you lower the weight below 0 degrees (parallel to the ground) you start to shift the load from your biceps to your forearms causing you to fatigue faster, meaning you will get less work done on your biceps. Select a weight heavy enough so you can perform no more than seven reps using maximal effort, and perform three sets of these making sure to rest for three minutes between sets. Any other bicep exercise is a variation of a curl, and this is the most effective curl when building huge biceps.

Eat more protein. Muscles are made of protein, and meat is a great source of protein because meat is animal muscle. Trying to build muscle without protein makes as much sense as trying to build a house without wood. Protein is not exclusively found in meat. Foods from the earth do have protein in them but in much lower quantities. Dairy products contain fair amounts of protein, and you can also buy protein supplements from most supermarkets and specialty health shops.

Rest between workouts. Working out strains your muscles and breaks your body down. This forces your body to repair itself and become stronger, meaning that your muscles grow during the recovery period. You need to allow 48 hours between workouts to give your body optimal time to repair your muscles. Working out too often to where you do not gain muscle size is referred to as overtraining.

Take Glutamine supplements. Glutamine is an amino acid that speeds up the recovery process for your muscles. Glutamine allows you to recover more completely so you get the most from your rests. Taking Glutamine does not allow you to work your biceps sooner than 48 hours between workouts, but it does mean you will recover more completely leading to faster muscle growth.
