How to Change From the Secondary to the Primary Video Card on a Dell Computer
Changing the device configuration of your Dell PC can be done through the Device Manager, located in the Control Panel. Users with administrative rights can disable and enable different devices on their PCs, as well as view whether or not their devices are working correctly. Changing from your secondary to primary video card involves disabling your secondary video card then enabling the primary video card in the Device Manager.

Log on to a Windows profile with administrative rights.

Click on the Start menu button, located on the bottom left portion of your screen.

Click the "Control Panel" button.

Click the "Hardware and Sound" button.

Scroll down and click the "Device Manager" button.

Click on the "Display Adapters" heading.

Right-click on the current secondary video card and click "Disable."

Right-click on the primary video card, and click "Enable."

Restart the computer.
