How to Connect to Wireless With iPAQ

Most HP iPAQ's are capable of surfing the Internet through their cellular carrier's wireless network. However, a problems with this is that phone carrier wireless speeds may not be to the level you want. Users are also billed per megabyte when they use the wireless carrier's cell network. WiFi, on the other hand, does not use cellular Internet and offers a faster connection.

Things You'll Need

• iPAQ with wireless adapter

Instructions

1. Tap the Windows Icon at the top-left corner of the iPAQ screen.

2. Tap the "iPAQ settings" line in the menu that appears.

3. Tap the "Settings" button in the menu that appears.

4. Choose the network you want to connect to in the next window and tap "OK" to connect.

Tips & Warnings

• If you need to add a passkey or a username and password, you can do so in the "Network Key" tab.
