How to Send Money to Cameroon

Visit the Ikobo website from Resources below and click on "Send Money Now."

Select your country from the list and add personal information such as name, address, email address, country, date of birth, and two security questions. You will also have to enter your credit card/debit card or bank account information.

Enter the amount that you want to transfer to Cameroon after creating your account on Ikobo. Also, enter the recipient's name, email address and complete postal address. The recipient will then receive an Ikobo Visa Prepaid Card loaded with the money that you have transferred. After he receives the prepaid card, he will receive a link through email that will allow him to log on to his Ikobo account. The recipient will have to click on "My Account" to obtain his PIN for using the prepaid card. This prepaid card can be used for withdrawing money from any ATM that uses Visa cards.

Visit MoneyGram's website from Resources below to find the nearest agent location. When you open the page, enter your city, state/province, and zip code, and you will see a list of available MoneyGram agents in the area.

Visit any agent office and take along the money to be transferred, the fee, and a photo ID (passport or driver's license).

Complete the form that the agent gives you. The form will ask for your and the recipient's name and contact details.

Give the completed form, along with transfer money and the fee, to the agent. The agent will give you the receipt for the transaction and a reference number.

Contact the recipient in Cameroon and share the reference number with him. Tell him to find the nearest MoneyGram location just the way you did. The recipient can collect the funds within ten minutes of the transfer.

Visit the MoneyLineUK agent and complete the money transfer form. The form will ask for your and the recipient's name and contact details. Upon handing over the completed form to the agent, he will give you a transfer receipt.
The agent will then forward the transaction details to the company's processing center through the Internet or fax. You will receive a "transaction number" through SMS. -

Ring up the beneficiary in Cameroon and give him the transaction number. If you specified a "transfer password" in the money transfer form, the beneficiary will have to provide this password along with the transaction number when collecting the money.
