How to Draw Female Super Heroes

Draw your fantasy girl superhero today.

Drawing a female superhero isn't as hard as it sounds. These tips will show you how make a kneeling female superhero you will be happy to show off.

Things You'll Need

• Black ink pen
• pencil
• eraser
• paper
• pencil sharpener
• colored pencils

Instructions

1. In the middle of your paper draw an egg shape using your pencil, with the narrow end of the egg at the bottom. This will be her head.

2. Draw a triangle 2.5 times bigger than the egg, pointy side down, just underneath the head, but not touching it. This will be her body.

3. Create the superhero's neck by joining the head to the body with small lines, curving inward, on both sides of the head.

4. Place two small ovals vertically stacked on top of each other on the right side of the head, near the right-hand point of the triangle. These should be pointing towards the top of your paper. Place a small circle on top. These will be her right arm and hand.

5. Place two ovals horizontally stacked next to the left side of the triangle; place the top one to the left of the left point. These ovals should look like they are hanging from the triangle at a slight angle. Place a small circle at the bottom of your oval chain. These are her left arm and hand.

6. About 3/4 of the way down the triangle, towards the bottom of your paper, draw an oval at a 45-degree angle pointing downward. Draw a similar shape to the right side of this oval 3 inches away. This is our super hero's upper legs.

7. Place a medium-sized egg shape horizontally at the end of her left upper-leg oval. Point the narrow end towards the left. Duplicate the egg-shape on right-side oval (upper leg), narrow end pointed slightly to the right. These are her lower legs.

8. Place a small triangle, point-end-up, at the end of the horizontal eggs. These are her ankles and feet.

9. Round out her joints to mimic a more human form.

10. Erase the bottom point of the large triangular body you drew earlier so that you can give shape to her chest. At this point you should have a rough outline of a kneeling woman who has her left arm at her side and raising the right arm towards the top of the paper..

11. Take your pencil and sketch in the 4 small curves for the fingers on her right hand. Now draw in a curve vertically over those 4 fingers at a slight angle. Now go down the arm slightly and finish drawing what is her glove.

12. In the other hand circle, sketch in 4 small lines on her left hand pointing down towards the bottom of the paper. Sketch a small line at a slight angle. Now go up the arm slightly and finish drawing in her other glove.

13. Draw in your boot heel and toe in the small triangle at the end of her left leg. Draw in the rest of her boot.

14. Draw in her mask, briefs, cape, hair, eyes, nose, mouth and utility belt on your superhero.

15. Emphasize her super power, such as flames radiating off her hands to signify flame-throwing powers.

16. Take a black pen and trace over the lines you want to stand out in her body, costume, hair and face. Erase any line that you did not go over in black ink. Color her in.
