How to Configure LimeWire to AVG Antivirus
LimeWire is a popular file sharing network that is used to transfer multimedia files between end users. Many antivirus programs such as the AVG Antivirus, however, will not permit the LimeWire service to work unless their firewall components are configured to allow the service to run on your computer. Many users will incorrectly disable the firewall protection in AVG, which makes the computer vulnerable to computer malware infection from the files shared with others through LimeWire. A task that you may need to accomplish when using LimeWire and AVG Antivirus is configuring the antivirus program to allow the file sharing program to work.
