How to Make CD-DVD Duplicators
You may want to duplicate home-created CDs or DVDs to perhaps give extra copies of your favorite saved computer files (such as pictures or home videos) to your friends and family. Although special programs are designed to help you perform this task, it is possible to do so in Windows without using any additional software as the computer is already designed to duplicate both CDs and DVDs.
Instructions

1
Insert the original CD or DVD into the disc drive of the computer. Close out any AutoPlay windows that appear.
-
2
Click "Start," (My) "Computer," then right-click the CD or DVD icon and select "Open." A window with all of the files on the CD and DVD appears on the screen.
-
-
3
Click-and-drag all the files you want to copy to a new CD. Right-click somewhere in the selected files and choose "Copy."
-
4
Right-click on the desktop and select "Paste." This moves all the data from the CD or DVD to the desktop (although you may choose different locations to save the files to, using the desktop allows for easy access).
-
5
Insert the blank CD or DVD into the burner of the computer, then close out any AutoPlay windows that appear on the screen.
-
6
Select "Start," (My) "Computer" and double-click the CD or DVD drive icon. A blank window appears on the screen. Copy the files you saved to the desktop, then paste them into the open window. Close out the open window, right-click the CD or DVD drive icon and select "Properties" from the pull-down menu. A new pop-up display appears. Click "Recording," then "OK" and the duplicated CD or DVD is created.
