Instructions

1. Consider the party theme or color scheme when designing a candle centerpiece. Choose deep purple candles for an elegant wine and cheese reception. Pick citrus-hued candles for a summer garden soiree.

2. Display the candles in themed decor items. Fill two crystal wine glasses with water and place a purple floating candle in each. Place orange, lemon and lime-shaped candles in a decorative fruit bowl.

3. Enhance the candle arrangement with accessories. Place a vintage wine bottle filled with roses or calla lilies in between the candle-filled wine glasses. Accent the fruit-shaped candles with a large square vase filled with water, floating lemon and lime slices and vibrant flowers such as daisies or tulips on the water.
