How to Replace the Cartridge on a GE SmartWater
GE refrigerators that are equipped with a water dispenser system use SmartWater filter cartridges to keep the water system clean and free from impurities. GE recommends replacing the SmartWater filter cartridge about once every six months. An old filter cartridge will become less effective at keeping the water system clean after a long period of time. In most models, the filter cartridge is located in the upper right-hand corner of the top refrigerator compartment. Does this Spark an idea?
