Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware is specially designed for ease of use, versatility and the ability to work well with a variety of cooking appliances and cooking methods. Caring for your Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware is essential to maintaining its cooking surface and the longevity of your Le Creuset cookware. Le Creuset recommends simple procedures to ensure you keep your enameled cast iron cookware in tip-top, ready-to-use condition.
Things You'll Need
- Mild dish washing detergent
- Plastic mesh scrubber
- Clean dish towel
Allow your Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware to cool completely prior to washing or soaking.
Pre-soak your Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware if it has stuck-on food stains. Fill the cast iron cookware with warm water and allow it to soak for 15 to 20 minutes. Empty the water out of the cookware.
Fill a dishpan with hot water. Add a few squirts of mild dish washing detergent and mix to create a soapy solution. Scrub your Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware using a plastic mesh scrubber.
Rinse your Le Creuset cookware in warm water. Dry thoroughly with a clean dish towel, rather then allowing your enameled cast iron cookware to dry in the dish drying rack.
