  • Wrench
  • Single-sided saw sharpener

      Unscrew the circular saw blade, using the wrench to remove the bolts holding it in place.

      Run the sharpener in a smooth motion back and forth against once of the blade teeth, keeping the diamond surface flat against the inner face of the saw tooth. Mark the sawtooth with chalk when you are finished so you will know your stopping point.

      Sharpen the rest of the saw blade teeth, making sure they are all sharpened to the same specifications so that the blade will function smoothly. When all the teeth are sharpened to a satisfactory level, reattach the blade to the circular saw.
