1
Cut the hooks from the wire clothes hangers just above the twisted neck using wire cutters. Spray paint the hangers white and allow them to dry.
-
2
Lay the hangers in front of you with the bottoms running vertical and facing outward and the twisted wire necks overlapping in between. Wrap duct tape around the overlapping necks to secure the hangers together. This creates the shape of the wings.

Cut off the legs from a pair of white pantyhose, just below the panties. Insert one wing into one pantyhose leg. Stretch it over the wire, pulling the excess to the taped center of the wings. Repeat on the other wing. Trim away the excess pantyhose, leaving only enough to cover the taped center. Secure the ends of the hose around the center using duct tape.

Cut 18 inches of 1/2-inch wide white satin ribbon. Apply hot glue to one edge of the taped center. Place one end of the ribbon in the glue. Wrap the ribbon around the center several times, covering the tape. Apply glue to the end of the ribbon and secure on the opposite edge of the taped center.

5
Cut two 2-yard lengths of 1/2-inch wide white satin ribbon. Tie each ribbon around the ribbon-wrapped center of the angel wings, giving you four ends of ribbon each a yard long.
-
6
Hold the wings up to the center back of your angel. Bring two ends of ribbon up the back to the front, crossing over the chest and around the waist to tie in the back. Bring the remaining two ribbon ends under the arms to the front, cross them over each other and around the waist to tie in the back.
