Homemade Cat Urine Cleaner
Nothing stinks up a home like cat urine. Whether a single cat has an accident or a number of cats make a regular habit of urinating outside of their box, you must quickly clean cat urine to eliminate all odors. Commercial cat-urine cleaners are available in many stores, but you can whip up your own cleaner at home using simple, inexpensive household ingredients. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Funnel
- Spray bottle
- Baking soda
- Liquid hand soap
- Cleaning cloth or paper towel
- Warm water

Pour 15 oz. of hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle using a funnel.

Add 2 tbsp. baking soda and 2 squirts of liquid hand soap to the spray bottle.

Spray the mixture onto cat-urine stains, then scrub the area with a cleaning cloth or paper towel.

Rinse the cleaned area with warm water to remove any residue from the cat-urine cleaner.

Tips & Warnings
Never shake the mixture in the squirt bottle, as pressure may build up inside the bottle and cause an accident. Discard any remaining solution after use.
