Wear gloves and long clothing when applying Scotts Turf Builder Plus 2 Weed Control. This will protect your skin from irritation if your skin comes into contact with the product.

Plan on applying Scotts Turf Builder Plus 2 Weed Control when the temperature is below 90 degrees F but over 60 degrees for best results.

Plan on applying this product after rain when your lawn is damp and weeds are actively growing. If there is no rain in the forecast but you want to apply this product, water your lawn. Make sure there is no rain in the forecast at least 24 hours after you apply this product. If it rains after you apply the Scotts Turf Builder, it will not kill any existing weeds.

Apply Scotts Turf Builder Plus 2 Weed control using a spreader for even coverage. Choose a spreader based on the size of your lawn. For small lawns, a hand-held spreader may be used. A wheeled spreader should be used for larger lawns. After you have filled the hopper with the product, adjust the calibrator according to the back of the package. Work across the lawn in a motion similar to the way you would mow the lawn. Work consistently and evenly.
