Homemade Room Spray Using Vodka

Save

Room spray helps to eliminate odors on furniture, carpet and in the air. Instead of purchasing a commercial room spray, you can make your own at home with vodka. Vodka acts as the emulsifier that mixes the essential oil and water. Making your own room spray will save you money, and you can use your favorite scent.

Things You'll Need

  • 15 to 20 drops essential oil
  • 1 cup unflavored vodka
  • Bowl
  • Spray bottle
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • Add 15 to 20 drops of essential oil to 1 cup unflavored vodka in a bowl.

  • Stir to combine the essential oil and vodka.

  • Pour the ingredients into a spray bottle.

  • Add 1 cup of filtered water to the spray bottle.

  • Shake the bottle before each use. Store it between uses in a cool, dark location.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can adjust the amount of essential oil you add to the spray for a lighter or more intense scent.
