How to Make a Yahoo Account

Creating a Yahoo email account provides you access to other Yahoo services.

Yahoo provides several different services to its users, including access to Yahoo email, Yahoo fantasy sports and Yahoo groups. In order to access these features and services, you must create a Yahoo account. The easiest way to create a Yahoo account is to sign up for an Yahoo email account. Once you've created an email account, you will have a Yahoo user ID that you can use to access other Yahoo services.

Instructions

1. Open your Web browser and visit the Yahoo registration page. See "Resource 1" for a link.

2. Click the "Sign Up" link in the lower right corner of the page.

3. Complete the form. This asks you for information such as your name and birthday. You'll also be able to create a Yahoo user ID in this form.

4. Click "Create My Account" at the bottom of the page. After you've clicked this, you'll be automatically redirected to the Yahoo mail account page. You now have created a Yahoo account.
