Specially crafted paper is the secret to a Buddha Board.

A Buddha Board is an interesting item used to practice writing and drawing skills without wasting sheet after sheet of paper. It uses something called Magic Water Painting Paper. When you draw on the paper with a brush dipped in water, the designs you make will simply disappear after the water dries. Also called a zen board, this item can be made using basic supplies and enjoyed for years to come.

Remove the backing, glass and any photo or paper in the plastic picture frame. Place the frame backing on the sheet of magic water painting paper and cut to size with a craft knife.

Step 3

Place the water paper in the plastic frame and replace the frame backing. Dip the tip of a bamboo brush into a dish filled with cold water. Paint images and words on the paper. As the water dries, the images will disappear, leaving it ready for the next writing session.
