  • Old rags
  • Baking soda
  • Black light (optional)
  • Empty spray bottle

      Clean up any puddles of urine from the floor if the urine is fresh. Soak up the puppy pee with old rags.

      Sprinkle a generous coating of baking soda onto the affected area of the wood floor. If the urine spot is old and you cannot see it, hold a black light over the floor to locate the urine.

      Fill an empty spray bottle with water. Lightly mist the baking soda with water so the spot is damp.

      Let the baking soda and water mixture dry onto the wood floor for a few hours. Vacuum up the powder from the floor once it has dried completely.
