How to Burn an Image to a DVD With Dell Roxio Creator Version 9

Burn an image to copy DVDs.

An image stands for a special binary file usually recognized by the .iso extension. Such a file contains a disc copy including a complete file structure and boot data. Burning an image on a blank disc represents the most common way of copying DVDs. The popular media-burning software Roxio Creator 9, often preinstalled on Dell computers, allows a user to easily create a DVD copy using an image file.

Instructions

1. Place a blank DVD in the optical drive of your Dell computer.

2. Open Roxio Creator 9 on your computer.

3. Click on the task "Burn Image" on the right panel of the program window.

4. Browse your computer to find the image, typically having the .iso extension, on your Dell machine and
   double-click on the file.

5. Click "Burn" to burn the image on the DVD.

6. Eject the DVD when the burning process is done.
