How to Install Lexmark 1400 Wireless Printer Leopard System
The Leopard operating system made by Apple makes it extremely simple to set up a Lexmark 1400 series printer on its wireless network. After setting up the printer on the network, the operating system's own printer interface will appear each time you choose to print. The entire process only takes a moment or two to accomplish.

Put your printer next to your Mac computer.

Turn on the printer.

Click your "Hard Drive" icon on your desktop. Click "Applications" in the left column and then click on the "Internet Connect" application. The connection utility will appear.

Click the orange "Airport" icon along the top of the window.

Find the "printer server" selection in the "Network" drop-down list. The selection will be "print server (six digit MAC address)." Choose the server. Your connection will be lost as your Mac configures the network for your Lexmark printer.
